How To Make Carrot Cake



Carrot cake is one of the special type of cake with carrot taste ,check out the recipe and make yours:

Carrot cake Recipe
Baking powder                :Limited quantity
Flour                                :170 g
Ground cinnamon            :2 teaspoon
Ground Ginger                 :1 teaspoon
Ground nutmeg                :1/2 teaspoon
Bicarbonate of soda         :1 teaspoon
Vegetable oil                    :200 ml
Brown sugar                     :225 g
Eggs                                  :4 eggs
Golden Syrup                    :125 ml
Grated carrot                     :500 g
Pecans Or Walnuts            :60 g
Baking Time                      :2 hrs

PREPARATION

  1. Preheat oven to 170 C (325 F/Gas 3).Grease the tin and line the base.Sift together flours,spices and bicarbonate of soda into a large bowl and make a well into it's center.Whisk together the oil sugar,eggs and golden syrup.Gradually pour into the well,stirring until combined.Stir in the carrot and chopped nuts.
  2. Spoon the mixture into the tin and smooth the surface.Bake for the time stated above.Using the table as a guide,test the cake towards the end of the cooking time.A skewer inserted into it's center should come out clean.Leave the cake to cool in the tin for at least 15 mins before turning out.
STORAGE: KEEP IN AN AIRTIGHT CONTAINER IN THE FRIDGE FOR A WEEK OR FREEZE FOR 2 MONTHS
