Tips:
The size f a tie should match the lapel of the tuxedo jacket
Wide lapels are no longer trendy and should be avoided
Resist the temptation of wearing a coloured shirt to a black tie event

Trousers should be of adequate lenght.
Since black tie event are mostly at night,you should opt for a thick tuxedo.
Your pocket square or handkercheifs shoukdn't have to much colour if worn.
Accessories shouldn't be too much.
