Madeira Cake Recipes


For Madeira cakes lovers,this is for you. Very simple steps and you get your cake ready

MADEIRA CAKE RECIPES
Butter -250g

Flour  -250g

Caster or Granule Sugar  -250g

Eggs   -5eggs

Baking powder  -limited quantity

Milk  -5tablespoon

PREPARATION (FOR A SIZE 6 PAN)
You can double it for a size 12 pan depending on your pan size

  • Mixture of sugar and butter (250g sugar and 250g butter) 
  • Stir thoroughly till  fluffiness i.e starts changing colour(it doesn't really matter if sugar melts if it's granule sugar)
  • After fluffy,add your egg one at a time,beating it after each addition.
  • You can now add your flour and milk.
  • Remember your baking powder,you can add that and beat just before putting in the oven to avoid self rising
  • Prepare your baking pan with butter and flour,by rubbing butter after which you rub flour to prevent the cake from sticking to the pan 
  • After this prepare your oven and place in it. Leave for about 2 to 3hrs
STORAGE: Can be kept in an airtight container in the fridge for 2 weeks or frozen for 2 months
