Glace Fruit Cake Recipes

                     
Glace fruit cake unlike every other cakes stands alone due to its uniqueness with fruit combination. It differs from most of other cakes majorly due to the presence of GLACE fruit. Apart from this fruit,there are also some other fruits present which gives it a very nice unique taste

RECIPES

Light-coloured glace fruit         850 g
Mixed peels                              70g
Blanched almond                      100g
Flour                                         250g
                                          
Baking powder                         limited quantity
                                                        
Butter                                        250g
                                             
Grated Orange rind                   3teaspoon
Grated lemon rind                     3 teaspoon

Caster or granulated Sugar        300g
                                               
Eggs                                          5 or 6 eggs
                                                              
Sweet Sherry                             80ml

Baking Time                             2hrs

PREPARATION(FOR SIZE SIX)                                                   You can double it for a size 12 pan depending on your pan size

  • Like every other steps firstly,mix up  all the fruits along with the egg and sugar
  • After beating well
  • Now flour and egg can be added 
  • Beat again till evenly mixed
  • You can now put in oven 
  • Leave for about 2 hours of about 315 F
