Fruit Cake Recipes




Earlier today i posted on the different types of cake,now its time to know how to prepare them.Starting from the fruit cakes which is no doubt also common everywhere
.
Fruit cake recipes :
Mixed dried fruit
Brandy(alcohol): This is used for preservation
Plain flour
Eggs
Butter
Sugar
Spice
Brownie

PREPARATION (FOR A SIZE 6 PAN)
You can double it for a size 12 pan depending on your pan size

  • Soak your fruit cake with alcohol(brandy) or hot water for about 3 to 5 hours before starting
  • Mixture of sugar and butter (250g sugar and 250g butter) 
  • Stir thoroughly till  fluffiness i.e starts changing colour
  • You now add your soaked fruits 
  •   
  • Then add flour (250g) and 5 eggs
  • Stir again
  • You can now add your spice (nut meg or any other cake spice) and also brownie to make it brown 
  • Stir again till everything totally blend together 
That's it,you almost done

  • It's time to put in the oven to heat for about 2 hrs
You done!!! Simple Hun...that's it
