ICING SMOOTHER:Used to smooth the surface of fondant or sugar paste covered cake.
Ribbed Rolling Pin: Used to make a regular grooved imprint on soft icing,necessary for making designs on fondant or sugar paste.
CELSTICKS: Used in different sizes for fine modelling work and making sugar flowers.
METER RULER:This is used to spread royal icing smoothly and give a perfect surface.
ROLLING PIN:Used to roll out small amount of icing or making sugar flour
PALETTE KNIFE:Indispensable equipment for cake decoration.Used t spread icing smoothly.
FLORIST WIRE:Used in making flowers,its a covered flexible wire that can be shaped or bent into any shaped .
PIPING TUBE: Used specifically for cake decoration,has different mouth piece of various designs. Usually made from either metal or wood.
CRIMPERS: Used to pinch together the edge of soft icing to give a decorative effect.
PILLARS: Usually used in holding up two or more cakes on each other
PETAL CUTTERS: Used for cutting petal shapes cake
FLOWER CUTTER: Used for cutting small flower shapes.
LEAVE CUTTER: Used in cutting leave shapes cake
PAINT BRUSHES: Textures range from soft to hard and sizes vary. Used to paint with food colouring or dust finish piece with powder colour.
